A liberal in North Carolina? You’d be cranky too. My senators are two Bush administration shills: Elizabeth Dole and a breathtaking slime bag named Richard Burr, the Prince of Special Interests. My local member of Congress is Walter B. Jones, a guy who really does want to eliminate the wall between Church and State - and probably cancel the Constitution. My distaste for George Bush and his Administration knows no bounds. Remember, I'm never mistaken but frequently wrong!
I got this from a friend of mine today: Wednesday was both Groundhog Day and Bush's State of the Union Address. One involved a meaningless ritual in which we looked to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication and the other involved a groundhog.
