Iraq Casualty Count as of 2100 EST, 01/06/2005

A dreadful day; nine Americans were killed. 17 American men and women have died this month; 1210 since the “Mission Accomplished” sign was hung on the aircraft carrier; 1350 since Bush’s War began.

There have been 1501 total allied deaths. 10,252 American men and women have been wounded, 272 between 12/23 and 1/04. These data come from

Iraqis continue to be killed by the score, with tens of thousands of Iraqi men, women, and children killed and the Iraqi infrastructure virtually destroyed.
