A liberal in North Carolina? You’d be cranky too. My senators are two Bush administration shills: Elizabeth Dole and a breathtaking slime bag named Richard Burr, the Prince of Special Interests. My local member of Congress is Walter B. Jones, a guy who really does want to eliminate the wall between Church and State - and probably cancel the Constitution. My distaste for George Bush and his Administration knows no bounds. Remember, I'm never mistaken but frequently wrong!
106 American men and women have died this month; 1227 since the “war” began; and 1088 since the “Mission Accomplished” sign was hung on the aircraft carrier. There have been 1373 total allied deaths and tens of thousands of Iraqis killed. There is no end in sight.
