A liberal in North Carolina? You’d be cranky too. My senators are two Bush administration shills: Elizabeth Dole and a breathtaking slime bag named Richard Burr, the Prince of Special Interests. My local member of Congress is Walter B. Jones, a guy who really does want to eliminate the wall between Church and State - and probably cancel the Constitution. My distaste for George Bush and his Administration knows no bounds. Remember, I'm never mistaken but frequently wrong!
109 American men and women have died this month; 1230 since the “war” began; and 1091 since the “Mission Accomplished” sign was hung on the aircraft carrier. There have been 1376 total allied deaths and tens of thousands of Iraqis killed. There is no end in sight although thankfully our our sons and daughters are dying at a slower rate recently.
