This just in: I was wrong!

Yesterday I predicted that Rick Santorum’s minimum wage amendment would pass and Ted Kennedy’s would fail. I was rong, rong, rong! Not only that, I was badly rong!

Kennedy’s amendment was voted down by 49-46 or thereabouts. Santorum’s by 61-38. There’s a subtext here that I haven’t identified. It can’t be that Santorum’s basic sliminess has been identified by his colleagues, can it? Nah!
