A liberal in North Carolina? You’d be cranky too. My senators are two Bush administration shills: Elizabeth Dole and a breathtaking slime bag named Richard Burr, the Prince of Special Interests. My local member of Congress is Walter B. Jones, a guy who really does want to eliminate the wall between Church and State - and probably cancel the Constitution. My distaste for George Bush and his Administration knows no bounds. Remember, I'm never mistaken but frequently wrong!
At 0945, I'm listening to NPR, the polls in Iraq are closed and turnout was reportedly high.
Hooray for the Iraqis, they've literally risked their lives to vote. 40% of Americans didn't give a damn.
