I was wrong... twice. I hate that!
Back on December 24th, I was ranting about Later Day Saints, aka Mormons. I said that you couldn’t go into their churches; hence they must have secret stuff in there. A chap named “Gunner” said, “I believe you are thinking of our temples. We consider them sacred. We allow only members in good standing to enter them. Anyone is welcome in our churches. We also like questions so drop by one and ask. There is little "ooooh, secret stuff" in reality.”
He’s right of course. I’ve lived for the last 35 years near the Washington temple, a magnificent building right next to the dreaded Beltway. You and I can’t visit. We can visit their chuches. Oh well. [Gunner's blog is at http://noquarters.blogspot.com/. Gunner is not a liberal.]
Second error: Today I said, in regard to the Iraqi casualty count: “No one died!” That obviously is horsecrap. Iraqis are dying by the score every day. I apologize. I should have said, “No one from the “Coalition of the Willing” (gag) died.
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
